Harry Wens Leaves Leicester City for Manchester United: Expected Transfer Value of £15m

Leicester City have confirmed that Harry Winks has left the club to join Manchester United on loan until the end of the season.

The midfielder, who was born in England but played his entire career at Chelsea, will be hoping to make an impact at Old Trafford under manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Winks made just two appearances for Leicester during the 2019-20 campaign and was not included in the team for their final match of the season against Aston Villa.

He is expected to cost United around £15 million, with the fee paid by Leicester as part of a deal involving a future move to the Premier League champions.

Winks' departure from Leicester could also open up a vacancy in the midfield for James Maddison,Saudi Pro League Focus who is currently out injured with a knee injury.

Maddison has been impressive since joining Leicester from Southampton last summer and has become one of the club's most important players.

However, he may find it difficult to break into the first team if Winks returns from his loan spell at Old Trafford.

It remains to be seen whether United will make a permanent move for Winks or whether they will look elsewhere to strengthen their midfield.

Whatever happens, it seems likely that Winks will be a valuable addition to the squad at Old Trafford.
